Likee Social media is becoming more and more related to visual content such as photos and videos. Instagram is the first example of such social media app but, today, there are many more such websites and apps. Let's check out Likee, social media focused solely on videos.
Likee, formerly known as LIKE Video, is a platform used to share video creations. As soon as you join, you can see a selection of videos you might like. The app features many different stickers and effects you can add to your video in order to make it stand out in the app. You can check out videos of other users to see just how the effects can be used to create amazing videos.
There are three sets of videos you can watch. You can look at videos from people who you follow, videos popular online, and videos from users nearby. The videos are displayed in two tracks and you can scroll through the content easily. After opening a video, you can swipe right to go back, scroll downwards for more similar videos, or swipe left to open the user's profile.
Creating a video is easy and there are many different things to add and tweak. You can add a filter out of hundreds of available ones, add stickers, make yourself prettier or change the speed of the playback. You can use certain presets such as making a video from photos, various interesting animations, etc. There are so many different features you will probably want to stick with your favorites.
The community of this app, on the other side, is pretty young and you will often simply run into videos from teen or pre-teen girls. The app's community is also not large enough to provide creative and engaging content. Most of it is pretty superficial and childish.
